Karate team t-shirts printing
Share

Sometimes things don't go smoothly - communication with the customer is very important, no matter what. I managed to create some confusion and print some t-shirts for free.
Going beyond the event, together with the client we still managed to arrive at a coherent design for their karate club.

Another challenge was adapting the size of the templates to the size of the t-shirts, while still having two t-shirts on order for 9-year-olds.
Still, this project is still a fun one, despite the fact that I managed to ruin 2 stencils because it was so hot in the workshop that the white paint simply dried on the screen. These are the risks when working with 160-grit (American standard) screen and water-based paint in an environment without controlled temperature and humidity.

I ended up working early in the morning while drinking my coffee and in the evening after 7pm with a beer and music blasting. It's great not to have bosses, but you should always make sure that it's clear between you and the client what you're going to print before you start printing.
